Dear Baby,
You are getting bigger and I feel you more and more every day, which is very comforting because I felt you later than I did your big brothers. You have been quite active with all the rocking and rolling that has been going on in your home, with the stomach bug that hit our family this week. It hasn't been fun, you haven't been missing out on much this week!
We are so excited to see you and have so much to do in these last weeks before you arrive! We bought you a new dresser/changing table to put in our room. Yes, OUR room, there isn't one for you just yet! Hope you won't mind, your brothers enjoyed rooming with us for quite some time before they moved into their own big boy rooms.
We still do not know if you are a boy or a girl, Daddy and I think boy, and O is sure you are a sister. You do not have a name(s) yet, it's such a hard decision! We will find the most perfect one that we can, for sure.
Thank you for giving me such an easy pregnancy up to this point. This is our last time going through this and I am enjoying every second of it!
I will leave with some pictures from your "big" ultrasound a few weeks ago. Everything checked out and you looked very healthy. Yay!
We are a mom, a dad, a boy, another boy, and a baby girl. We also have two cats. We are work at home parents and most days the kids are definitely the most work!

Snow In my Eyes
So, the snow found us again. That's twice this winter.
It was a fun morning (4 inches=snow you can work with) but we were ready to see it quickly melt as the day wore on. As was everyone else, judging by the crowds at the grocery store as soon as roads were drivable.
Our house is on the best hill in the neighborhood so all of the neighborhood kids gathered to sled down. This was the first time sledding for our boys. O loved it, E did too until Daddy pulled to fast and he ended up face down in the cold snow. He cried (which he rarely does anymore) so I took him in. Daddy and O stayed out and built a dirty snowman, complete with droopy carrot nose and droopy carrottop hair.
When it was too cold to play any longer, we collected some fresh snow for snow cream! This was E's favorite part of the day. He ate on it for maybe an hour without stopping to breathe. O had a bowl of snow that was used to make his on snow concoction, he mixed, stirred, splashed, and whisked that stuff all day. It was great!
Now, no more snow please.

The terrible twos
Sometimes, most of the time lately, it is hilarious that our business name is Happy Family. Ha! HeeHee! Hoohoooooo!
We have finally entered into the world of tantrums. Not from our almost 2 year old of course, it's our 3.5 year old who is giving us this pleasure! The last few weeks have been wooly and wild. We know there is a reason behind this sort of behaviror and we think the reason is he has officially outgrown his nap. Oh crap. I loved that nap.
So this week O finally gave up his afternoon siesta. Instead he has "quiet time" which is supposed to be simple, quiet time..with books or blocks. Quiet time has mostly been an hour of him running around yelling at the top of his lungs "IT'S QUIIIEEETTTT TIME!!" He is very happy to have outgrown his nap. So I will be happy too. Even though I sooooooo miss that free afternoon time! It has been one less battle and the tantrums have calmed down. E sleeps on peacefully.
